Tools & Miscellaneous

Even if you keep your dog’s hair long, small clippers are helpful in trimming feet. Larger clippers are used for doing a full-body trim.

Wahl Pocket Pro Compact Trimmer for Eyes, Ears and Paws

"The Wahl Clipper is a great size for Havi foot pads and doesn't cut or pinch webbing when using."    kr

We don’t have many suggestions yet for grooming scissors or thinning shears. They can be expensive and temperamental, and one size does not necessarily fit all hands – or skill levels.

Tweezerman Facial Hair Scissors

“These little scissors are great for very personal trimming. They’re curved and blunt, and you can get in tight.”      mm!google!Product_Listing_Ads&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paidsearch&cagpspn=pla&CATCI=pla-298255136569&CAAGID=107718645756&CAWELAID=202393756&CATARGETID=330000200002459491&CADevice=c&gclid=Cj0KCQjwzdOlBhCNARIsAPMwjbwMZdpoPwOoPyv9HDLm8_MfmyULWn84JWH8C5rJpu9n7AidfbwHzREaAkpbEALw_wcB

Drain Cleaner

Not really a grooming tool, and NEVER use it on a dog! But, if you bathe your dogs at home, even our non-shedding Havanese will eventually slow or clog your drains, especially if you keep their coats long.

Septiclear Hair Away

“This is a locally (Portland, OR) made product that I’ve been using for a couple of years - follow directions, and hair clogs are gone overnight. It might be hard to find - my local Ace Hardware introduced it to me, but it’s not on their national website. I know I’ve seen it elsewhere, but can’t recall where.”     mm
